Starting in the very salon she now calls her own as a Saturday girl age 14, always wanted to be a hairstylist. Going on from St. Newlyn East village salon age 16 after school to start her career into a bigger city salon to train in an apprenticeship. Here she worked her way up from assistant to Salon Manager.
Absolutely adoring creating new hair colours & styles, wanting to ensure every client is 100% happy when they walk out of Nine Hair Lounge.
JOSIE - SENIOR STYLIST
Taking the plunge and moving to Cornwall from Southsea in 2019, where Josie was an Artistic Director for four years at an award winning salon. Being a previous salon owner herself and participating in national competitions and events. Loves creative colouring, precision cutting & all things texture
VALYA - SENIOR STYLIST
Originally from Latvia, Valya has been making a home for herself in the UK for the last 15 years. 17 years in the hair industry, with it being her biggest hobby & passion. Valya is a fully qualified Goldwell master colourist. Loves creating anything vibrant & vivid to soft naturals. Specialising in wedding hair & make up.
